Filmed over two weeks, 'Pillars of the Caribbean Reef' explores the incredible underwater world of Little Cayman and the inhabitants that make it unique. ​While the majority of Caribbean coral reefs have seen severe levels of degradation due to climate change, disease spread, and over-exploitation, this island has maintained some of the healthiest coral reefs of the entire region. This film was made as part of an internship with Our World Underwater Scholarship Society for the 2024 Backscatter Digital Shootout.
